Yesterday's Winning Vote:
Option 3 – Try to open the weapons cabinet.

The horrible screeching echoes continuously down the hall, broken only intermittently by the sound of gunfire. It's hard for you to tell, but it seems that the sources of the terrible noises are becoming more numerous while the cracks of weaponry are becoming rarer.

Though intensely cold, the exam table you're sitting on is somehow comforting. Like an island amongst the fury, you feel you'll be safe as long as you don't move.

*whump*

The door buckles under a heavy blow, shaking the room and rattling the contents of the cabinets. Figuring that, realistically, the table will do you no good, you slide off and run over to the cabinet the doctor was at moments ago. There are no obvious latches, handles, locks, or any other means of opening it. You run your hands down the sides of the cabinet and then the front, feeling for something hidden. Nothing. Frustrated, you pull an arm back and strike the cabinet.

*whump*

You freeze, knowing that you couldn't have hit the cabinet hard enough to make that sound. Hesitantly, you turn around slowly. Standing in the now open doorway is an enormous wolf that could stand shoulder to shoulder with a man if it were to rise up on two legs. Wiry, steel-gray fur covers the beast except where a rusted chain around the neck holds the fur down. The end of the chain lies in the hands of a twisted, ugly man-like being riding atop the wolf. The man-thing blinks its large, bulbous eyes at you, opens its mouth, and screeches.

*eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

Snarling, the wolf leaps at you with its fangs bared in anticipation of meeting your throat—and stops in midair. Confused, you open your mouth to curse and nothing comes out. You wave one hand back and forth and notice that doing so creates a black hole in the air as if you are knocking aside the light from that spot.
Behind you, the doors of the weapons cabinet squeak open. Looking into the cabinet, a brilliant white light blocks you from seeing further in. A hand extends out of the light and beckons you to step forward.
