Option 1 – Take time to figure out what the hell just happened.

You look back at the body in bewilderment. A teddy bear? What? Having seen too many movies, you reach up to feel your head, trying to find some sign of tampering with your brain. No stitches, no seams, no headache.

"Huh?"

Very slowly you turn around, looking for the source of the noise.

*thrap* *thrap* *thrap*

The torso is rolling about on the floor, making wet sucking noises as it moves.

*thwop, thwop, thwop*

Sunlight glints off of a knife on the far side of the torso. You take a step toward it, but the body begins moving faster and faster.

You take a step back towards your door and are about to open it, but the fear of giving the cops another glimpse in keeps the knob stationary.
